Description:

 Compress compresses the selected Bitmap item to TIFF format. The resulting Bitmap item will take up less memory. Cadcorp SIS chooses the compression scheme to use depending on the colour depth of the Bitmap item.

If the Bitmap was linked to an external file, then the link will be broken. This means that the original file will not be affected.
