Description:

Convert to Box Text converts the selected Text item(s) into BoxText item(s). The height of the new BoxText items will now be defined in metres (or you can change its size by stretching by its grab handles of the box which surrounds it).

Initially the BoxText heights are set to a size which allows them to retain the same appearance in the current View.
