Circle: 3 Points

Conditions for use:

• Item Class: Polygon
• Minimum number selected: None
• Minimum item status: Editable

Associated commands:

• 2 Points
• Centre, Point
• Radius, Centre
• Radius, Point, Point

Description:

 3 Points constructs a circle using three points anywhere on the circumference of the circle. The points may be given in any order.

The created circle will be a Polygon item.

Example:

1. Select 3 Points.
   
   
2. Click the first point through which the circumference must pass.
   
   
3. Click the second point through which the circumference must pass. As you move the cursor around you will now see a circle which is attached to the cursor and fixed to the first two points you clicked.
   
   
4. Click a position for the third point on the circumference. This point determines the size and the location of the circle.
