Remove Geometry

Applicability:

Conditions for use:

• Item Class: All item classes
• Number selected: 1
• Minimum item status: Editable

Associated commands:

• Add Geometry
• Convex Hull
• Decompose
• Fill
• Process
• Unfill

Description:

 Remove Geometry removes geometry pieces from the selected item.

After you have selected an item and started this command, you can snap on the pieces you want to remove. SIS will remove the pieces from the selected item, and use the removed pieces to create new items.

SIS removes each piece by doing an Exclusive-Or Boolean operation, similar to Symmetric Difference [Analysis-Boolean Operations].
