Snip Outside

Applicability:

• Cadcorp SIS Map Modeller
• Cadcorp SIS Map Editor
• Cadcorp SIS ActiveX Modeller

Conditions for use:

• Item Class: LineString and Polygon
• Minimum number selected: 2
• Minimum item status: Editable

Associated commands:

• Move
• Stretch
• Reverse
• Split
• Slice
• Snip Inside

Description:

 Snip Outside snips away portions of the selected items outside a Polygon.

The pieces falling outside the filled item will be deleted.

This command will snip many types of geometrical item, but it cannot be used on topological items.

Example:

1. Select the item(s) to snip.
   
   
2. Select Snip Outside.
   
   
3. Click on the Polygon item to use.
